To silence detractors, the mother of unusual twins with Down syndrome demonstrates their beauty and preciousness.

Although they are still quite uncommon, twins’ chances of getting pregnant rose by 72% between 1980 and 2018. Approximately 33 births per 1,000 are twins.

What is the probability of finding identical twins? There are about three or four sets of identical twins born for every 1,000 births. Similarly, not very typical.

When Savannah Combs, 23, found out she was carrying twins, she was ecstatic. Then she saw something else unusual: they both had Down syndrome.

Of course, the news was disconcerting. Savannah and Justin Ackerman knew that because of their circumstances, some people would draw judgments about them and their kids.

That’s why Savannah still thinks highly of them.

She told News4JAX, “They’ve been my little gems, but they have something very rare.”

Savannah, a native of Middleburg, Florida, gained fame right away after she and her children, McKenli Ackerman and Kennadi Rue, shared videos of their postpartum journey on TikTok.

In a video, Savannah claimed she was told to abort her children because they wouldn’t survive.

She chose to hold onto them and give them a go.

Savannah told me, “Every [prenatal] appointment I had while they were still alive was a blessing.”

Her spouse had already left for boot camp when she learned that they both had Down syndrome.

When Savannah was rushed to the hospital, among other things, she was 29 weeks pregnant and had just given birth to twin girls. proceeded after that. The list is endless. and so on. and so on. And so on. The list is endless.

The twins needed to spend many weeks in the NICU due to their two-month early delivery before being released.

“They’re called mono di twins because they each had their own sacs but shared the same placenta, meaning they would be identical,” the speaker continues.

“Mo di twins are already quite uncommon. Adding Down syndrome to the mix increases the likelihood to about one in two million.

Savannah claimed that in spite of their uncommon ailment, they are no different from other kids.

They have feelings. Their heart continues to beat. They are able to communicate. They are competent at doing the same tasks that you do. She told me they will come.

“They might lag behind, but as I’ve said, they’ll succeed. These children strike me as joyful and spirited little creatures.

Savannah posts sweet updates on her TikTok channel showing each child’s growth at different phases.

“I’ll let them know that they’re just like us and that, with enough determination, they can succeed.”

However, some think it’s critical to go after Savannah and her family. As a result, the young mother has had to interact with some really terrible people on social media.

Someone wrote the mother a note saying, “I wouldn’t want those babies; if mine came out like that, they would go straight to adoption.”

Savannah, on the other hand, had the ideal response, which she posted on Facebook.

“I was happy they were born to me instead of you. When God sent these babies to the perfect parents who would love them no matter what, he knew exactly what he was doing.

Beautiful women. To say otherwise is merely cruel on the part of anyone. These people are the kindest and most giving people you will ever meet! Please post this motivational story on Facebook.
