Sam Elliott and Katharine Ross met on the set of “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” in 1969 but didn’t talk.
Later, on another film set, they finally interacted and fell in love. They got married in 1984, and despite Ross’s previous marriages, it was Elliott’s first. They have a daughter together named Cleo Rose.
In 2022, they celebrated 37 years of marriage and attribute their lasting relationship to working through challenges together and their mutual love and commitment.
