Melania Trump issues terrifying warning in front of military families

First Lady Melania Trump and Second Lady Usha Vance completed their first joint outing on Wednesday, visiting military families in North Carolina. But while Melania spent time with children and military personnel, she also issued a stark warning for the future.

Melania Trump and Usha Vance spent Wednesday at Camp Lejeune, the largest Marine Corps base on the East Coast. They met with military families and visited Lejeune High School, where they greeted students and joined discussions on AI.

Melania made a brief speech in the school’s gymnasium, expressing her gratitude to the families for their service.

However, things didn’t start off well. As Melania was speaking, technical issues caused the microphone to produce loud feedback, forcing her to stop and hand the microphone over.

Once it was fixed, Trump said, “I want to thank you, all of you, because you are military families behind our nation’s defense, and thank you for your service,” Trump said. “My husband, the president, is sending best regards. We are both thinking of you, and you’re in our thoughts and prayers for holidays, every day, but especially for the holidays.”

Melania Trump issues alarming warning about AI future
As mentioned, Melania and Usha joined the high school students to discuss AI. The First Lady touched on the subject in September as she hosted a meeting of the White House Task Force on Artificial Intelligence Education, which is a part of her Be Best campaign. There, she made a surprising connection between AI and children.

At Camp Lejeune on Wednesday, Melania took on a serious topic. In front of Marines and their families, she issued a terrifying warning about the future of warfare and AI.

“AI will alter war more profoundly than any technology since nuclear weapons,” the First Lady said, explaining that speed is the defining factor of future conflict, as things will get more and more automated. “Artificial Intelligence will take center stage in the theater of war.”
