This video shows a man protecting his private property from alleged squatters. There’s a huge debate going on right now about squatters and how they’re ruining things for property owners. There’s several places where squatters have rights, but many people believe they shouldn’t have any rights.

At least one Republican Governor has made recent changes to help protect the property owners instead of the squatters who keep scamming people. Florida’s Republican Ron DeSantis signed legislation:

Wednesday, the governor signed legislation to end the so-called “squatter scam” in Florida, helping ensure law enforcement can evict people who attempt to hijack Floridian homes and properties by claiming they have a right to remain.
The legislation was sponsored by Rep. Kevin Steele, R-Dade City, and Sen. Keith Perry, R-Gainesville.
