A Unique Move: Artist Promotes Inclusivity with Litter Boxes in Restrooms

People love a good controversy, especially when it comes to online content. They eagerly jump into debates and discussions, and one artist on TikTok has recently found herself at the center of one such controversy. Dorian Electra, the artist in question, has not only gained a lot of attention on the social media platform but has also gone completely viral with her latest move.

During her tours, Dorian has been placing litter boxes in public restrooms. Her intention behind this unusual act is to make sure that everyone attending her concerts feels included. While most concertgoers are members of the LGBTQ+ community, Dorian wants to ensure that no one feels left out.

Taking to TikTok, she announced that litter boxes would be provided in all bathrooms during her tour for any concertgoers who identify as animals, emphasizing inclusivity in action. The announcement included a big thumbs up, showing her enthusiasm for the idea.

In a video shared on TikTok, Dorian can be seen walking towards a bathroom door labeled as an ‘all gender restroom.’ She takes a Sharpie and crosses out the word ‘gender,’ replacing it with ‘species.’

Carrying a litter box, she enters the restroom and places it next to the toilet. Another video states that the litter boxes will be cleaned after each show.

This innovative approach has sparked a heated debate among people. Some appreciate Dorian’s efforts to create an inclusive environment, while others see it as unnecessary or even controversial. It’s unclear what direction this controversy will take next, but one thing is for sure – it has certainly caught people’s attention.

Stay tuned to see how this unique move develops and what impact it may have on future discussions of inclusivity and expression.

I SLEPT UNDER A BRIDGE — BUT MY DOG KEPT ME WARM, ALIVE, AND HUMAN People think rock bottom is when you lose your home, your job, or your family. They’re wrong. For me, it was the day I realized no one had said my name in two weeks. Not once. Except for him—Bixby. My dog. He didn’t speak it, of course, but every morning he’d look at me with those big, patient eyes, tail wagging slow and steady, like I was still worth something. Like I was still his person. We’d already been through hell together—eviction, shelters turning us away because of “no pets,” nights curled up under an old tarp while the wind cut through us. And still, he never strayed. Never stopped pressing himself against me in the cold like he could keep the world away just by staying close. Once, after two days without food, someone tossed a sausage biscuit from a car window. I split it right down the middle, but Bixby just nudged his half toward me with his nose. His eyes said, You first. I can wait. That moment cracked something in me. I started carrying a cardboard sign—not to beg, but to tell people who we were. Because strangers saw the dirt, the frayed hoodie, the unshaven face. They didn’t see him. They didn’t see how he kept me alive in more ways than one. And then last week—just as I was packing up to move spots—a woman in scrubs stopped in front of us. She looked right at me, right at Bixby… and said five words that changed everything. (continue reading in the 1st comment)
