A cache of documents pertaining to the Russia investigation was discovered in a bureau secret room, concealed in “burn bags,” according to FBI Director Kash Patel.

“The classified annexe to former Special Counsel John Durham’s final report on the beginnings of the FBI investigation into Donald Trump’s initial campaign, which includes the underlying intelligence he reviewed,” the FBI official told the Daily Mail, referring to the records.

Durham examined the FBI’s probe into potential ties between Trump campaign officials and Russia during the 2016 election and concluded that the FBI shouldn’t have begun the investigation based on the information at the time.

The Daily Mail was informed by a source who was aware of the discovery that the documents were likely spared from destruction because of an error made by previous directors.

The person continued by saying that it’s likely that the records would never have been discovered if the FBI hadn’t been meticulously reviewing everything it comes across at the bureau.

The results have been forwarded to Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, the head of the Judiciary Committee, and will be released later Wednesday, the FBI spokeswoman said.

President Trump has stated that he supported the information’s release.

“As long as it is fair and reasonable, I want everything to be shown,” he declared.

He told reporters at the White House, “I would like to see people exposed that might be bad, and we’ll see how that all works out.”

However, “they would have released it” if the FBI had anything, the president said.

His long-standing charge that Democrats were to blame was reaffirmed.

It’s a scam all around. “The Democrats are behind this scam,” Trump declared.

Government agencies use “burn bags,” which are secure containers, to destroy classified or sensitive documents. Typically, they shred or burn them to prevent unauthorized access.

Patel, who was once one of the FBI’s most vocal critics, has started reorganizing the organization, which includes firing some top agents and reassigning others.

At the beginning of his term, he promised a “wave of transparency,” particularly regarding the investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign in 2016 and Russia.

The FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into any links between Russia and Trump’s first presidential campaign was dubbed “Crossfire Hurricane.”

Durham’s report stated that although there was no evidence of criminal activity, the investigation was “seriously flawed.”

His research also disproved Trump’s claim that special counsel Robert Mueller’s report was a “witch hunt” or a “hoax.”

The FBI investigation “did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,” according to Mueller’s report. However, it did discover Russian meddling in the 2016 election that it said favored Trump.

Trump, on the other hand, has repeatedly claimed that the FBI’s 2016 election investigation was a witch hunt.

His loyal supporters have been searching the federal government for evidence to support his claim.

Patel stated in a June interview with podcast host Joe Rogan that he had found a room full of computer hard drives and papers “that no one had ever seen or heard of.”

“Just consider this,” Patel advised Rogan. When I first arrived at the FBI as the former ‘Russiagate guy,’ I discovered a room in the Hoover Building that [former FBI director James] Comey and others had hidden from the public. It was filled with computer hard drives and documents that no one had ever seen or heard of. “No one is ever going to find this place,” I said, locking the key and hiding access.

Patel and his group have been reviewing the documents ever since.

Last week, Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s national intelligence chief, claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin had classified information about Hillary Clinton and planned to use it against her during her presidency.

She claimed that government intelligence reports demonstrated Russia’s sincere desire for a Clinton victory in 2016.

“This report demonstrates that Putin refrained from disclosing damaging information about Hillary Clinton before the election, intending to do so after it was over,” Gabbard stated.

“Information that demonstrated Putin was holding onto the most damaging information about Hillary Clinton until after her possible and probable victory was purposefully suppressed by the intelligence community,” she said.
